COVID-19 Update

. We're pleased to announce that beginning Thursday, June 25th, we will be OPEN DAILY and serving food and cocktails outdoors under a tent on the Dobbin House Courtyard and must have limited seating inside in the Dobbin House (Rev. Dobbin did not think about social distancing when he built his 1776 home!)

Our "Springhouse Tavern Diners Choice Menu" with your favorite Tavern dishes will be served in the Springhouse Tavern, our outdoor Courtyard, and our Abigail Adams Ballroom daily from 11:30am to 9:00pm. We do not take reservations for these areas, it is first-come, first-served.

The "Alexander Dobbin Dining Rooms Diners Choice Menu" with the most popular dining room meals will be served daily from 5:00pm to 9:00pm in the original 1776 stone house.  We do accept reservations for the Alexander Dobbin Dining Rooms but all walk-ins are welcome.

A full bar of cocktails, wine and beer is available in all areas.

OPEN DAILY 11:30am - 9:00pm.
Please note: A mask is required inside the Dobbin House Tavern when not at your table.

The Country Curiosity Store is also OPEN DAILY at 11:00am and is limited in occupancy as required by the State.  Use of our hand sanitizer, located at the door, is encouraged.  The Gettystown Inn Bed and Breakfast is also OPEN DAILY and taking reservations.

As always, the safety and well-being of our Dobbin House guests, staff and community is our top priority. All our tables are at least 6' apart and all staff wear masks.  We are continuing to take all necessary measures to use best practices in deep cleaning our locations with disinfectants and are following the protocols set by the CDC, Pennsylvania agencies and local officials.

As the current crisis unfolds, we will continually evaluate the situation. Any update or change will be posted to this page. Call the Dobbin House (717-334-2100) for questions or concerns.

We are finally able to reopen the Dobbin House and are excited to be able to serve you again. Thank you for your continued patience, cooperation and support!
